The Rowan Scout Resource Center, located at 693 Beverly-Rancocas Road in Westampton, serves as the headquarters for the Burlington County Council.  A gift from the Rowan family in 1981, the building is the home to the administrative offices and Scout Shop (Trading Post) as well as meeting space for many Council and District Committees and trainings.  Through the generous support of the Rowan Family Foundation and another anonymous donor, the Rowan scout Resource Center has undergone several renovations, updates, and beautification projects beginning in 2008.  One of these projects was the creation of the “Arthur B. Hafner Memorial and Scouting Legacy Garden” including the brick fleur-de-lis in the center.  This garden allows the opportunity to honor a Scout, Scouter, family, or friend by purchase of a commemorative brick to be placed in the fleur-de-lis or on the sidewalk leading up to the front door.  Proceeds from the brick sales go to support the Council Endowment fund and the future of the Burlington County Council.

In addition to serving as the hub of Scouting activity in the Burlington County, the conference room and meeting rooms of the Rowan Scout Resource Center are also made available to other community organizations needing space for meetings or conferences.

The Rowan Scout Resource Center and Scout Shop is conveniently located opposite the Westampton Municipal Complex.  It is easily accessible from Interstate 295 using Exit 45A (toward Mt. Holly). After exiting I-295, continue West to the second traffic light. Turn left and then immediately bear left to the Resource Center.  Directions.
