JOTA - Jamboree on the Air
JOTA, Jamboree on the Air, is an annual Scouting event that uses amateur radio to link Scouts around the world, around the nation, and in your own community. Burlington County Council's official JOTA site will be the Tabernacle Township Emergency Services Building located at 134 New Road, Tabernacle, NJ. The event runs from noon on Saturday, October 20, 2012 to noon on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Scouts and Scouters have 24 straight hours to get on the air! Cubs Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers are invited to participate. This event is being hosted by Tabernacle Boy Scout Troop 439.
