A Goodturn for Goodwill Clothing Drive
Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America is teaming up with Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia to present "A Good Turn for Goodwill" clothing drive. Goodwill’s mission is to provide education, training and employment services that prepare individuals with disabilities and disadvantages for competitive employment in the community. Funding for these worthwhile programs is generated through the sale of your gently-used donations in Goodwill’s network of retail stores. When you donate to Goodwill, you become part of a cycle that builds stronger families and communities through the power of work. In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on January 20
th the Garden State Council, BSA will be participating in a council-wide clothing drive to collect gently-used clothing, shoes, books and small household goods. Please contact Susan Nagy at the Rowan Scout Resource Center in Westampton to pick-up your Goodwill donation collection bags. Bags are due to arrive at the Council office by Friday, December 28th. The Goodwill representative for this clothing drive is Deb Eckenhoff. Should you have any questions, she can be contacted at 856-439-0200 ext. 247 or deckenhoff@goodwillnj.org.
