2010 Town Hall Recruitment
The Town Hall Roundup on Thursday May 13th was an overall success for the Quakesen District! 21 complete applications were brought to the victory celebration that evening, 49 additional new scout families filled out applications and 28 families left their contact information with unit leaders. Over 40 families have contact the Rowan Scout Service Center in the past few weeks through beAscout.org and phone and they were given the contact information for their local unit.
Remember, spring recruiting is not yet over!
Unit Leaders should:
- Follow up with any families who have given you contact information - Follow up with any families who I have passed contact information to you
- As part of the follow up, inform them of your coming events and collect a youth and adult application from them with the proper fee (If registering in June, the pro-rated fee is $8.75 for registration and $7 for Boy’s Life).
- Make sure your contact information on www.beAscout.org is up to date
- Let me or your commissioner know if there is any way we can help you collect applications from new scouts or assist you with recruting events you have planned.
