Out of Council Training - 2012
If you are unable to attend a particular Burlington County Council training course, you are free to attend that course in a nearby council if that fits your schedule better. However, you should be aware of the following:
- Please ensure that the other council knows that you are from Burlington County Council
- Other council must forward training attendance record to Burlington for entry
- Other council cannot update training records for out of council Scouters
- Make sure that you retain Training Certificate Card presented at end of course as prove of training in case of paper work problems
- To ensure proper credit for training completed, send copy of Training Certificate Card, along with contact information and unit number and position to Melissa Rozecki at mrozecki@bsamail.org
- Burlington County Council requires that a Tour Plan be submitted to council any time unit activity is conducted anywhere other than unit’s normal meeting time and place.
- Burlington County Council requires that all Scout Leaders who have direct contact with unit’s youth must be trained for their position in order to renew their registration in that position at time of unit recharter
