WHAT:     The Burlington County Farm Fair will be held July 20^th  through 25^th, 2009 (PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE FROM THE COUNCIL CALENDAR). Over 250 volunteers and staff of the Burlington County Council run five food concession booths, all parking and a marketing booth at the fair.

 WHY:        The money raised helps support Scouting in Burlington County, and …. because it’s FUN!  Careful, you too may catch the Farm Fair bug.

 WHO:       Webelos (accompanied by an adult), Boy Scouts, Venturers,  Explorers, leaders, parents, district, and council volunteers. 

                  (For safety reasons, please – no one under the rank of Webelos).

 WHERE:   Lumberton Fairgrounds, Route 541, Lumberton, NJ.

 WHEN:     Monday, July 20^th thru Saturday, July 25^th   (Fair opens Wednesday, Monday & Tuesday are set-up days).

 T-Shirt:     Don’t miss out on the 2009 Farm Fair Staff shirt!  The first four-hour shift you “work” you will receive a custom designed shirt.

 AREAS of NEED:     

                  Listed are times we will need the most help:

                  ► Friday night

                  ► All day Saturday

                  ► Saturday night and takedown

                  ► We are also in need of more adults and older Scouts for weekday shifts.

 HOW:       Fill out a Unit Booth Adoption and/or Volunteer  Commitment form promptly.  This will allow us to:

·        Coordinate manpower

·        Reserve your T-shirt and staff meal, and

·        Make sure that you receive a free parking pass
