Popcorn Sale 2008
Are we ready to meet your needs?
Are you ready for the sale?

The Burlington County Council wants to make sure that we are meeting the needs of our volunteers that are delivering the Scouting program to the youth registered in the Scouting program. In order to get ready for a record breaking Fall Popcorn Sale, we are asking each person in the council to a few moments to fill out an on-line survey to tell us how we are doing and what you need to "POP" up the sales in your unit. This is a short, one page survey that should take no more than a few minutes of your time.  Click here "Popcorn Survey" to participate.

2009 National High Adventure Treks

2009 Philmont:  August 1 – August 15, 2009
Sea Base 2009:  June 28 – July 5, 2009

Philmont provides an unforgettable adventure in sky-high backpacking country along hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails. Program features combine the best of the old West – horseback riding, burro packing, gold panning, chuck wagon dinners, and interpretive history, with exciting challenges for today – rock climbing, burro racing, mountain biking and .30-06 rifle shooting – in an unbeatable recipe for fast-moving fun and outdoors.

We will be heading to board one of the Tall ships operated by the Scouts in Marathon for Sea Base. During the week-long odyssey you will snorkel several reefs as you sail among the Florida Keys. Along the way you will troll for mackerel, barracuda and mahi-mahi, hopefully to supplement the ship’s store. Among the highlights of your adventure will be sailing to a small archipelago of islands, fishing, snorkeling and maybe even catching some lobster.  If you are expecting a "cruise" and someone serving your meals, this is not the adventure for you. It is a rugged extended voyage on a large vessel. Everyone pitches in with the sailing and cooking chores. You’ll do on-board navigation, star study, and lots of snorkeling and fishing – but you won’t be waited on. If you are up to the challenge, this is the adventure for you.
