Requirements for Quality Unit include two mandatory items related to training:
Cubmaster and at least 50% of DL & WL complete Cub Leader Basic Training
Two-deep Leadership - one or more Asst. Cubmasters registered & trained.

BALOO - Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation

The revised camping guidelines for 2000 give councils the authority to allow Cub Scout packs to conduct a pack campout (overnight) activity, as long as the activity is conducted at a council-approved location and is under the direction of a leader in the pack trained to do so. This is the training course to prepare these leaders and does not replace any existing training.

Outdoor WEBELOS Leaders (OWL) Training

WEBELOS Leaders, Assistant WEBELOS Leaders, future WEBELOS Leaders, interested parents -
This course will provide you with information and skills to work outdoor activity badges and much more. In addition, a WEBELOS Leader who has completed New Leader Essentials, WEBELOS Leader Specific training and Outdoor WEBELOS Leader training may take his/her den camping as a den.

National Youth Leader Training Course

WHAT IS NYLT? The National Youth Leader Training Course is an intense seven-day outdoor experience for present and future Youth Leaders.

Who?: Troop Junior Leaders - First Class Scout and 13 years old.
When?: August 17th - 23th, 2008.
Where? : Pinetree Education and Environmental Center

( National Youth Leader Training Course replaces the Junior Leader Training Conference ((JLTC)).
